However, it is essential to note that Teeth Whitening doesn’t fix all types of stains or discolouration. Bleaching agents have a difficult time removing greyish or brownish stains. While bleaching agents can fix mild stains, they fail at treating badly discoloured teeth. Bleaching agents also do not work on restorations such as dental filling, crowns, and bridges.
In such cases, the dentist may recommend dental bonding or porcelain veneers. Both of these are well-known for restoring badly discoloured teeth.
